Germination of seeds is completed extremely easily with little effort or investment. Germination can be completed in 4 simple steps:

1) soak seeds in water (cup or shot glass works great) for 24-48 hours

2) wrap seeds in a moist environment (paper towel + water from cup used for soaking)

3) leave in dark, temperate area (closet, pantry) for 1-3 days until radicle emerges

4) plant cracked seeds 1-1.5" in depth into media of choice

5) watch with moderate attention until cotyledon leaves break surface soil, Vegetative growth begins.

Taking clones is a quintessential activity in cannabis production (commercial & home grows).  Growing a familiar strain can help maximize yields and quality with each iteration. Cloning is a simple task that can be completed using these following steps:

Gather relevant tools ( scalpel, rooting hormone, growing media, clone tray + dome)

1) Take a 45° cut of a new growth branch with about 3-4 nodes. 

(the angle of cut maximizes the surface area for which parenchyma cells can differentiate into root cells.)

2) Remove large fan leaves (should be left with 3-4 small fan leaves near top)

3) give 'haircut' to smaller leaves to reduce the surface area for photosynthetic reactions.

4) dip trimmed clone into rooting hormone

5) place clone with rooting hormone into growing media (rockwool plug, small pot with soil)

6) prepare clone tray with water in the bottom, spray dome with water to achieve 100% humidity)

7) place rockwool cube + clone into tray  (that has water) with the dome (sprayed with water) ON

8) ensure vents to the dome are fully closed

9) begin acclimating process (see 'Topics' for more in-depth learning)
